Administrative Director: 

Stan has been at the helm of Peterson Laboratory Services for 27 years. Under his leadership, our laboratory has continued to grow and evolve with the changes in healthcare delivery and laboratory testing. Stan is a Kansas native and graduate of St. Mary of the Plains College in Dodge City, KS. Among his previous positions before joining Peterson Laboratory was Laboratory Supervisor at Dodge City Medical Center.He is a member of the Kansas Medical Group Managers Association and the Wheatlands Chapter of Clinical Laboratory Managers Association. Stan also serves our clients as Techical Consultant. 
maureen.jpg Maureen Bruening-Jensen, MS
Client Representative: 

Maureen is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. As client representative, Maureen visits all clients on a scheduled basis as well as performing public relations for the laboratory (websites, newsletters and other client information media). Event planning responsibilities include client inservice training, recognition and internal promotions. Her previous background inclues project specialist, health educator, community developer and Cooperative Extension Service agent.

Transcription Supervisor:

Kathy is one of the rare Manhattan natives. Following high school, Kathy received a diploma from Manhattan Area Technical College in Office Education and Medical Terminology. She is seventeen years into (and just nine hours short) of a Psychology degree from Kansas State University. Since 1989, she has lead the transcription team at Peterson Laboratory.

Billing Supervisor:

Linda is originally from Peabody, KS and currently lives on a farm with her husband near Alta Vista. As Billing Supervisor, Linda directs patient account and reimbursement services. Peterson Lab files claims with all insurance companies and are providers for over 25 different networks.Prior to joining the Peterson's team 14 years ago, Linda held positions in surgical, dermatology and pediatric clinics.

Cytology Department Supervisor: 

Julie was raised just a mile north of the Oklahoma border, in Caldwell, KS. Before devoting her career to our clients, she worked for her alum - KU Med—and Providence St. Margaret Hospital in Kansas City. Julie was recently recognized for her 25 year career at PLS. During that career, PLS was selected for a CMS audit of 500 cytology slides. The audit team found no deficiences!

Marketing and Sales:

Lynsey is a Marshall County native and has served as sales/marketing representative since 2007. She holds a BS in Public Relations, with a marketing emphasis. Ms. Wanklyn brings us successful sales experience from her work with the KS Collegian and an internship with Wamego Telecommunications. Her most recent position was as the Economic Development Director, Marshall County.
